Emily Myerscough (December 2014) was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. She recieved her MFA in photography from Savannah College of Art and Design and her BA in Political Science from New College of Florida. She has taught art and photography in New York and Central America, and has presented and exhibited her work throughout the United States. Her visual practice combines documentary photography and scientific methodologies to explore the boundaries of objective reportage. She is especially interested in the political, ecological, and aesthetic underpinnings of the tropics.
