Artist Talk and AIRIE Application Q&A

Join Artists in Residence in Everglades for an Artist Talk and Application Q&A, with current AIRIE residents Itamar Freed and Courtney Scheu.

We’ll hear from International visual artist/photographer Itamar Freed and choreographer Courtney Scheu on their collaborative process, recent projects, current research and their experience living and working in Everglades National Park as AIRIE’s April residents.

Following the talk, Interim Executive Director Sarah Michelle Rupert will introduce the current AIRIE Application, give an overview of the application and review process, and address questions. More info about AIRIE 2020 Artist Applications, Due June 1st at

7pm – Application Overview and Q&A

Event is free and open to the public. Metered street parking is available along with garage parking at the Wynwood Garage on 26 street.

Coe Visitors Center is closed, as is the main entrance to Everglades National Park, until further notice.

The AIRIE Application for 2021 residencies has been postponed. The application window and new deadline will be announced shortly.
