On Dec. 2, AIRIE is bringing the Everglades to the excitement of Miami Art Week at the inaugural AIRIE Art + Environment Summit. The series of conversations and an immersive installation are focused on how artists are engaging diverse audiences in environmental issues and making the outdoors a space of belonging for all.
In partnership with the Women Photographers International Archive (WOPHA), the event will highlight artists delving into discussions and narratives of identity, climate activism, and ecological futures through their artistic practices.
The event is free to all with an option for a 12.30 p.m. lunch, at a $10 donation.
Special thank you to our partners for the AIRIE Art + Environment Summit Friends of the Everglades, Sommsation, and WOPHA.
AIRIE thanks our cultural and community partners the Everglades National Park, Love the Everglades, Prizm, and Outdoor Afro. Congratulations Prizm on your 10th Anniversary!
